Your Questions, Answered

  • The Shalom Collective cohort is designed for any pastor or faith leader within the Christian tradition. If you spend your days caring for others and are in need of rest, renewal, and community, this is for you. We intentionally build each cohort with diverse representation across roles, denominations, and traditions, and that diversity makes the experience richer for everyone.e offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs—whether you're just getting started or scaling something bigger. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Your cohort year includes four guided gatherings, triad small group connections between gatherings, and an overnight solitude retreat. Each gathering is thoughtfully facilitated, creating space for solitude, spiritual direction, and unhurried connection with God and with others. Between gatherings, your triad — a small group of three cohort participants — will meet at least once to share what has been coming up for you, support one another, and stay connected. These smaller conversations are often where some of the deepest community is built.

  • A triad is a small group of three cohort participants who meet between gatherings for connection and conversation. Triads are intentionally formed and offer a safe, consistent space to share honestly and be known.

  • Cohort participation is $1,200 for the full year. This covers everything — all meals during gatherings, retreat facility fees, certified spiritual direction, program materials and guides, and your overnight retreat at our final gathering at Mt. Angel Abbey.  We want your only job to be showing up.

  • We are committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation. We encourage you to begin by asking your church or parachurch organization to invest in your renewal. If that is not possible, payment plans and scholarships are available.

  • No prior experience is necessary. Our gatherings are designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of familiarity with spiritual direction or contemplative practices. Shalom Collective partners with certified spiritual directors who bring experience, care, and wisdom to both group and individual settings. They are not there to lead or instruct, but to create space for you to listen — to God and to yourself.

  • Item descriptionOur gatherings rotate between carefully selected contemplative locations across the Pacific Northwest, including The Kitchen at Middleground Farms, The Setting Inn, and Mt. Angel Abbey. Each venue is chosen for its ability to offer unhurried, peaceful space that supports rest and reflection.

  • Beyond the four gatherings — which range from a half day to a full overnight — you can expect to meet with your triad small group at least once between each gathering. We have designed the program to be as accessible as possible — because we know faith leaders are busy — while still being meaningful and consistent.

  • We understand that life in ministry is unpredictable. While we encourage full participation to get the most out of the cohort experience, please don't let uncertainty about your schedule keep you from reaching out. We are happy to talk through any concerns.

  • If you are a faith or ministry leader who is tired, isolated, or simply longing for a community that understands the unique demands of your calling — this is for you. Shalom Collective was born out of a season of deep exhaustion in ministry, and we understand what it feels like to be running on empty. This is not one more thing to add to your list — it is an invitation to finally rest. We would love to connect and answer any questions you have before you register.

  • Registration is open. Simply click the link above to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 15–20 participants, so we encourage you to register early.
